8 - They've also forgotten they're Chelsea, mediocre crowds until they got taken over.
PS They've got Billions yet have only had one decent striker at a time...Drogba, now Costa.
9 - Partially, as they had a result but we did get rid of lots of players then not just Lampard, Rio, Carrick, Joe Cole etc
My point would be where would we be now if they'd all stayed?

I have supported West Ham for nearly 40 years and will continue to do so but even for me we are a hard club to like at the moment.

Unlike plenty of Chelsea fans, West Ham Utd fans stick to the same club through good and bad.
I know 3 Chelsea fans who even in their 50s now admit previously supporting Liverpool, Man Utd and Leeds , but now a glory hunting team is available in London since 2003

Most of this seems to be annoyance that West Ham are an east london club and therefore have romantic associations with it that the east end has been subject to for at least two centuries.
That and the OS of course.
Weird little club, Chelsea. Even before the russIan came along they were having money thrown at them. Probably because the team was created to give the stadium something to do are called chelsea.
